Since its founding in 2008, PEC – Project Engineers & Consultants GmbH – has continually grown. In a mere decade, our team has grown to include more than 200 employees. We now serve major clients such as Mercedes-Benz AG, Daimler Truck AG, MAN, MTU and Volkswagen from six locations throughout Germany and our US headquarters in Detroit. Despite our established position, we still practice flat hierarchies and an agile start-up mentality on a daily basis.

Our activity in a variety of locations and industries provides us with access to a broad spectrum of valuable internal expertise. We coordinate our internal information management and transfer between the various project teams with the help of internal training and multi-location workshops, but also via work groups for pooling knowledge and team events.

Sustainability has become an important focus for PEC. With the ISO 14001:2014 certification we are demonstrating commitment to taking more action within the company.

Participation in sustainability stewardship with EcoVadis has enabled us to evaluate the company’s performance and outline plans to improve in the coming years.

In November 2023 PEC collaborated with The Climate Choice to work together on the topics surrounding sustainability. The first collaborative effort resulted in a whitepaper titled “Getting Started with Carbon Accounting for Suppliers.”
